Jessica Lynn Magda, MD, has served the Torrington community as a practicing pediatrician and co-owner of Torrington Pediatrics since 2004. A graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine with a BS in biology from Yale University, Dr. Magda has been a dedicated advocate for children’s health and wellbeing.
Fluent in Spanish, she has made significant strides in supporting Torrington’s immigrant community and serves as the Medical Advisor for the Torrington Area Health District, overseeing vaccination programs and advising on health services. In addition to her medical career, Dr. Magda has held leadership roles with local organizations, including serving as a vestry member at Trinity Episcopal Church and a board member of Kitty Quarters, a local nonprofit cat rescue. Her dedication to fostering community health and supporting local initiatives will be invaluable to NCCF.
